It's time we catch up.

This time round, we have the honour of inviting Mr Faizal to give us rich insights into SP 2013.

Next, we'll do something fun - sharing our homepage design. Remember to bring a printout of your homepage so that we can all learn with one another.

SharePoint 2013
Take this opportunity to learn more about SP 2013 and find out about the plans other organizations have for SP 2013. Some of the common concerns now include:
  • Should I wait for SP 2013 or move on with SP 2010?
  • How do I justify for SP 2013's investment?
  • With great improvements in features and usability, the SP product team now says that the web/intranet team can focus more on engaging with users needs rather than vendors' implementation. So what role do we play in SP 2013, and what role do vendors play?
  • What does it mean for migration from earlier versions of SharePoint?

Mohamed Faizal is a Lead Consultant NCS Pte Ltd. He leads the SharePoint practice in NCS and is also the SharePoint CoP leader in NCS.

Faizal has been working on SharePoint since its inception. He has consulted for many enterprise companies and government agencies.
His blog - Faizal Come Across - is a good follow if you are into the developments of SharePoint and Windows Azure.

Homepage fun!
Inspired by what happened in the recent Interaction Intranet Conference held in London, we can have our little fun event here.

Please bring along a printout of your homepage and we'll have a fun activity sharing what work in our homepages. Make sure that the sections within the printout is readable, and preferably in colour.
For people who drive
The nearest place to park is at Tanglin Mall. You can't park in British Council.

Special thanks from the SIG team!
Faizal - For preparing the presentation and sharing with us
Eileen - For getting us the venue
Wai Kong - For preparing the refreshments
Chermain - For trying really hard to make this happen
