Four organizations joined 12 others to get endorsed as being Knowledge Ready for the future. The Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Yayasan MENDAKI from Singapore, PT Djarum the first Indonesian organization and AFCONS Infrastructure Limited the first Indian organization respectively were part of the 4 who received their awards at the Knowledge Management Conference 2018.
The awards that was formalized four years ago by The Knowledge Management Society (KMS), Singapore is akin to a knowledge audit of six factors that are important for organizations to be ahead in ensuring that they are ready for transformation and to strengthen their organization’s Knowledge Management (KM) capabilities said Rajesh S Dhillon, President of KMS a non profit organization.
The three day conference which covered Singaporeans, international academics, consultants and practitioners were aligned to the demands for transformation in Singapore and very relevant to members of the public service as they embark on the government digital blueprint.
The KRO award is a global award having had 16 winners thus far from Singapore, Malaysia, India, Indonesia and Russia. Aside to Yayasan MENDAKI and the Ministry of Manpower, past winners include NLB, MTI, NCSS, DSTA , SINGTEL NCS, IPOS and HSL Construction Pte Ltd.
