Synopsis:

The ability to create new knowledge is critical to the success and sustenance of any organisation for a continued competitive advantage. Knowledge is created through practice, collaboration, interaction, and education, as the different knowledge types are shared and converted. Knowledge sharing and knowledge creation thus go hand in hand. Good facilitation is essential to encourage collaboration and dialogue for effectively identifying and exchanging knowledge in an organisation. This workshop will explore basic facilitation processes and techniques to brainstorm and capture new ideas, generate quality conversations and promote collaborative behaviours in facilitating knowledge creation and sharing. Participants will be taken through an experiential journey in discovering effective facilitation techniques that they can use in their organisations as knowledge management practitioners.
