Records are vital information assets that support sound decision-making and provide accountability and good governance. In the wake of “Wiki leaks” and other corporate information scandals, good records management (RM) practice is essential for an organisation to protect itself and to maintain business continuity.
Over the past few years the arrival of digital technologies has added further complexity to a field that is characterised by inconsistent interpretation and application of principles. So how does one know the best practices in RM, the do's and don't's, and measure one's own programme and progress?
K. Biju is a seasoned RM practitioner and has extensive experience working with Singapore government agencies and private organisations in developing RM programmes as well as delivering training & educational programmes in records and information management. He is one of the Founding Partners of
Latize
, an independent advisory and consulting firm specialising in Information Management Strategy, Practice and Technology.
Refreshments will be provided from 6.30pm whilst the discussion will start at 7pm. Come early to network!
