Social computing has some clear benefits in the workplace when it comes to co-ordination, knowledge sharing and KM. Dr Olivier Amprimo, an expert in this field, will share with us the different uses of social computing in organisations. He will cover these issues during the evening talk:
Currently an EXCO member of iKMS, Dr Amprimo is Associate Director, Digital Resources and Services Division of the National Library Board of Singapore. He has been woking on international network and community management, designing and implementing CRM, as well as reporting and community tools. He was previously a consultant at Headshift, a British social computing consultancy. He holds a PhD in Management with a focus on the rejuvenation of Management in a knowledge-driven economy.
